UPDATE: Suspect caught & in police custody; woman reported safe after alleged abduction

UPDATE, Friday afternoon 3:07PM: An update from Loon Lake RCMP says police have located both Michael Bouvier, and the woman he was believed to have kidnapped, in a rural location near Loon Lake.

Jasmine Iron (pictred) is being reported as safe and being assessed by EMS personnel. Michael Bouvier has been taken into custody.

A province-wide alert in Saskatchewan is telling residents to be viligant as RCMP search for a woman who is believed to be abducted by an armed man.

A dangerous person alert has been issued for Michael Bouvier, who was last seen with a gun on Thursday night at Island Lake First Nation (Ministikwan).

RCMP believe that 24-year-old Jasmine Iron may being held against her will.

The alert at 10:27 a.m. on Friday, May 16 in Sask, warns residents to be cautious.

“Do not pick up hitchhikers or approach suspicious persons. Be cautious if not in the immediate area.”

He may be in a black Dodge Caravan, licence plate 580LXY, or a black Dodge Journey, licence plate 412NPF

Jasmine Iron:

  • Last seen wearing a burgundy hoodie, jeans, and black and white shoes,
  • Tattoo of a feather on her forearm with script.
