Two Hills man facing child porn, sexual assault charges laid by Leduc RCMP
A 40-year-old from Two Hills is facing serious charges of sexual assault, possession of child pornography, and luring a child, after an investigation from the RCMP.
On Thursday, Leduc RCMP published details of an incident where two youth were reported missing in the Two Hills area on Tuesday, May 6.
The youth were located in Leduc and were found in the company of a male, according to police.
Through further investigation, the male, identified as Mark Sayler, 40, a resident of Two Hills, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Sexual Interference (x2)
- Sexual Assault (x2)
- Possession of Child Pornography (x2)
- Luring a Child (x3)
- Transporting liquor in an open container
- Unlawfully giving liquor to a minor
Following a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, Sayler was released from custody to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Paul on June 12, 2025.
“Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation and to protect the identities of the youth involved, no further details will be released at this time,” the release says.
