Break and enter at cell tower compound lands charges: Bonnyville RCMP
On April 7th, over the noon hour, Bonnyville RCMP were dispatched to a fenced Telus compound with cell towers for a Break & Enter.
Upon arrival at the site, located approximately one mile north of the RCMP Detachment, the members located a male inside the fenced compound, who at first tried to flee on foot, but was unsuccessful and taken into custody by members.
Ryan Girdler, 41, of Bonnyville was arrested and charged with Breaking & Entering, Mischief, Damage to Property Over $5000 and Under $5000, and Possession of Break-in tools.
He was released from custody by a Justice of the Peace and his court date is April 15th.
