On March 24, 2025,Mr. Joey Lee Omeasoo of Saddle Lake, Alberta,  passed away at the age of 42 years. He is survived by his daughter, Jomie; mother, Bella; siblings, Victor (Irene), Clayton & Tammy; special aunties, Delia Brertton, Eva Moosewah, Cora Houle, Cindy McGilvery & Linda Makokis; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews. Joey was predeceased by his father, Mike Moosewah; brother, Myron; sister, Annabelle; grandparents, Joe & Maggie Moosewah, Sam & Christine Omeasoo. A Wake will be held on Wednesday, April 2 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Elder Ernest Stanley & Pastor Linda Burns will be officiating with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
