In Loving Memory: Lewis Blyan – Northern Lights Funeral Chapel

On Saturday, October 26, 2024 Mr. Lewis “Duke” Joseph Blyan of Elizabeth Métis Settlement passed away at the age of 58 years.

Duke will be forever remembered by his 6 children; Danielle, Josh, Shannon, Jared and Dylan “DJ”; 13 grandchildren; Aiden, Phoenix, Victoria, Sheneyah, Leland, Liam, Creelyn, Slylan, Daelyn, Tealyn, Tanner, Lillie, and Noah; lovingly remembered by his mother Madeline Flora Blyan, his 15 siblings; Laurie (Donald), Brenda, Russell, Tina (Mike), Steve, Floyd, Peter (Lorraine), Sherry (Paul), Norine, Lizzie (Robin), Bruce, Rachel, Myrna (Joel), Marilyn (Casey), and Janice, special uncle; Raymond Desjarlais.

Duke was predeceased by his father; Louie Blyan, siblings; Marlene Cardinal, Richard and Harlan Blyan, maternal grandparents; Peter Desjarlais and Katie Rasher, and his paternal grandparents Louie Sr. and Sophie Blyan.

Wake, Saturday November 2, 2024 (leaving Northern Lights Funeral Chapel at 5:00 pm.) and Sunday November 3, 2024 at Elizabeth Settlement Hall.

Funeral service, Monday, November 4, 2024, 11:00 a.m., Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall with interment to follow at the Elizabeth Settlement Community Cemetery.
