St. Paul RCMP report: Oct. 17-24

In the past week, St. Paul RCMP responded to 198 calls for service and also executed 11 search warrants.

On Monday, Oct. 21, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Saddle Lake First Nation. One unregistered firearm was found in the possession of a male who was not licensed to have it.

Also that day, shortly before 4:30pm at the intersection of 50 avenue and 44 street, a collision involving a pedestrian was reported. One female was struck by a vehicle and she was taken to hospital for her injuries. Investigation into the collision is ongoing.

The St. Paul RCMP detachment responded to seven reports of break and enters. Four of those reports were within the town of St. Paul. Police say charges are pending against one individual in relation to one of these. Investigations are still ongoing for the other reports.

St. Paul RCMP also had 34 mischief calls over the past week, an increase in what is typically reported.

Police are thanking the public for continuing to report these occurrences.
