St. Paul RCMP member charged with child luring, child porn, back in court Oct. 24
The suspended St. Paul RCMP officer who is facing multiple sexual charges related to minors will appear again in court in October.
Cst. Evan Peacock, 33, is due back in St. Paul Provincial Court on October 24 for election and plea.
Peacock was originally charged in April with two counts each of possessing, distributing, and accessing child pornography, following an ICE investigation.
The original RCMP press release said the investigation began in November 2023, when the suspect allegedly uploaded two videos depicting child sexual exploitation to Snapchat.
ALERT was notified via the RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Crime Center.
Following his release, and suspension from RCMP duty, Peacock two months later was charged after an investigation into soliciting sex with underage females online.
These landed charges of luring a child, and failing to comply with release order conditions.
This time Peacock was remanded into custody.
