ERs again affected this week with no physicians in certain Lakeland emerges at times

The next three Thursdays will see no physician in the Smoky Lake emergency room.

This will affect the George McDougall – the Smoky Lake Healthcare Centre emergency department from 7:00PM – 8:00AM on Sept. 12, as well as Sept. 19, and Sept. 26.

The William J. Cadzow – Lac La Biche Healthcare Centre has had two days this week without a doctor at the ER. This is scheduled to happen at 4:00PM on Friday, Sept. 13 to 8:00AM on Saturday, Sept. 14. 

Elk Point continues to have issues with coverage on Wednesdays, with continued non-coverage each Wednesday in September.
