Alberta RCMP issue shelter in place for area within CFB Cold Lake

 Cold Lake and Bonnyville RCMP are currently tracking a reportedly armed suspect in the area of CFB Cold Lake. While police search for this suspect, we are issuing a shelter in place for residents who reside:

• North of Kingsway;
• West of 62 Street;
• South of Township Road 632;
• East of Range Road 424.

This area includes the Cold Lake Golf and County Club.

Residents within this area are asked to stay in their homes, lock their doors, and call 911 if they see anything suspicious. Individuals outside of this zone are asked to avoid the area.

The suspect is described as:

• Light complexion
• 6 feet tall
• Reported to be wearing a black hat, black jacket, white and black stripped shirt, blue jeans
