The 2024 Jayman BUILT St. Paul MS Walk, held on Sunday, May 26, 2024, has achieved remarkable success. It raised $3.5 million to support those living with multiple sclerosis (MS). With 12,000 participants joining the event from coast to coast, the walk has significantly impacted the fight against MS.

Mackenzie Bruynson of the Lakeland MS Society expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support. “We are incredibly thankful for the generosity and participation of everyone involved in the 2024 MS Walk,” Bruynson said. “Raising $3.5 million is an incredible achievement that will make a real difference for people affected by MS.”

In St. Paul, over 70 walkers raised $43,000 at this year’s event.

The funds raised will play a crucial role in connecting those affected by MS to vital information and resources, as well as funding groundbreaking research to uncover the cause and cure for the disease. “These funds help us move one step closer to creating a world free of MS,” Bruynson added. “It’s about providing support and hope to the 90,000 Canadians living with MS.”

Reflecting on the event, Bruynson highlighted the community’s spirit and dedication. “As we came together at our MS Walk, we took action and made a tangible difference in the lives of so many people,” she said. “The sense of community and commitment was truly inspiring.”

Looking ahead, Bruynson expressed enthusiasm for future collaborations. “We look forward to working with our supporters again in 2025,” she stated. “Together, we can continue to make strides towards a future without MS.”

The 2024 Jayman BUILT St. Paul MS Walk stands as a testament to the power of community and the collective effort to combat multiple sclerosis.
