Husband Chad stopped into the Tin Cup Restaurant at the St. Paul Golf Course to talk with Yvonne Weinmeier, executive director of the St. Paul and District Chamber of Commerce, ahead of their annual golf tournament, happening this Friday.

A few spots are still available to hit the links.

“It’s about getting together and networking and having a day out on the course, and just relaxing and having fun instead of always being pressured with the business,” said Weinmeier.

There are two hole-in-one prize holes at the tournament for a chance to win $10,000, sponsored by Cooperators, and $3,000 by Home Hardware.

Some major sponsors include the Town and the County St. Paul, VB Insurance Brokers, Cornerstone Co-op, Dr. Ken Miller, Instapawn, Community Futures, MCSNet, Caouette and Sons Implements, and many more.

Get a hold of the office at 780-645-5820.

“I have that forwarded to my cell phone so I’ll get the call no matter what time of day it is. We have been unfortunately having some issues with our new website. So payment on the website has been kind of frustrating so just call me.”

Recently, the St. Paul Chamber held their Business Connect Network meeting, hosted at Cornerstone Co-op.

“It’s connecting what everybody else is doing, making sure that we’re not duplicating and staying in the know of the community. To build a community you have to work as a community. So it’s all working together.
