Lac La Biche RCMP respond to a call of assault with a weapon

On May 17, 2024, at approximately 12 p.m., Lac La Biche RCMP received a complaint of a man brandishing a knife and running towards another male, near the corner of 101 street and 101 ave in Lac La Biche. Lac La Biche RCMP responded, found the suspect and conducted the arrest. No one was injured during the event or as a result of the arrest.

Charges are still pending while the investigation continues. Lac La Biche RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying the victim, and any witnesses, in order to get statements.
