In Loving Memory: Annie Sekersky – Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mom, Annie Sekersky (Tancowny) of Eldorena, on November 14, 2023, in her 92nd year of a full and beautiful life.  She will be lovingly remembered & forever in the hearts of her children, Lawrence (Helen), Katherine (Rick) Bampton, Thomas (Ember) & Marianne (Sam) Smereka; grandchildren & great-grandchildren, Nicolette & her children Ryder, Lakyn & Birkyn, Sheldon Sekersky, Korin (Shauna) Bampton & their children Carys & Chase, Derek (Kendall) Bampton & their children Tristan & Griffin, Kortney (Corinne) Smereka & their children Gavin, Liam & Noah, Jared Smereka & his children Boden, Jordyn & Evan, Paula & her children Tate & Sydney.  Annie is survived by her sister Katie Taras & brother Harry Tancowny.  She was predeceased by her husband Stephan Sekersky; her parents Andrew & Mary Tancowny; siblings Nick, John, Bill, Joe, Steve, Peter, Mike, Rosie & Doris.  Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Eldorena Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Eldorena, Alberta.  Reverend Father Mark Sych will be officiating, with interment in Eldorena Ukrainian Greek Catholic Cemetery, Eldorena, Alberta.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dickensfield Long Term Care Centre, Edmonton, Eldorena Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Eldorena, or a charity of one’s choice c/o 5626 51 Street, St. Paul AB T0A 3A1.  To send condolences online, please visit www.gracegardensfuneralchapel.com.
