A local man is facing sanctions after a late-night driving incident.
On Saturday, November 4th just before 1:00am, the Bonnyville RCMP were dispatched to a two vehicle collision on 47th Avenue at 49 Street.
The investigation reveal the driver of a minivan was impaired by drugs, fell asleep at the wheel, and crashed into a parked SUV.
Police say a 50-year-old male driver of the minivan from Bonnyville was arrested and charged with provincial sanctions for impaired driving. His vehicle was seized.
