On October 2, 2023, Donna Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 63 years. She is survived by her companion, Jarrod Houle; daughters, Sherry (Byron) & Tanis; adopted daughters, Teena Adams & Keally McDermott; grandchildren, Levi, Tierra, Kaydence, Barry Jr., Kiesten, Simon Jr., Sarah, Miliey & Creedence; 6 sisters & 2 brothers, Delia, Vera Cardinal-Lapatak, Theresa (Josh), Maureen, Leah (Shaun) Golling, Donald, Dennis Rowan & Brenda Rowan; numerous nieces & nephews. Donna was predeceased by her children, Levi, Creedence & Torrie; mother, Mary Ida; father, Joe Arthur. A Wake will be held on Friday, October 6 (Leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) at Mannawanis Native Friendship Centre, St. Paul, Alberta. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake, (Leaving Mannawanis Native Friendship Centre at 9:00 a.m.) with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
