Cold Lake tattoo artist now faces 11 charges of sexual assault

More sexual assault charges have been laid on a Cold Lake tattoo artist.

Cold Lake RCMP released an update on Tuesday afternoon on Dale Amos, a 67-year-old tattoo artist in the city is now additional charges.

Police have laid a total of 11 sexual assault charges against the accused, with eleven separate victims coming forward to the authorities.

Previously in May, Amos was charged with six counts of sexual assault with a weapon, two counts of sexual assault, and one of assault with a weapon.

Cold Lake RCMP put out a call at that time saying they were continuing to investigate, and were contacted by other victims who had reported being sexually assaulted in a similar manner by Dale Amos, said the RCMP.

These offences are being alleged to have occurred between 2015 to 2023.

Amos will speak to these charges in the Alberta Court of Justice in Cold Lake on Wednesday, Sept. 13,.
