A 58-year-old has died following a collision near Lloydminster, authorities say.
On Monday at 1:06 p.m., Kitscoty RCMP received a report to be on the lookout for a motorcycle who fled from an attempted traffic stop by a Peace Officer near Lloydminster.
At 1:14 p.m., a call of a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Highway 16 near Range Road 20 was reported.
The motorcycle matched the one from the earlier incident, police say.
The driver of the motorcycle, who has been identified as a 58-year-old male resident of the County of Rural Vermillion River, was pronounced deceased on scene.
RCMP remained on scene for several hours investigating the collision.
The investigation into the circumstances of this collision continue.
