The Midwest Prairie Pirates, with many kids from the Lakeland area on the ball team, will be playing in Bonnyville this weekend.
The U18AAA Prairie Pirates play in the Baseball Alberta Elite – Tier II.
They feature Ryker Neumier from Cold Lake, Josh Bourbeau and Logan McMillan from Bonnyville, Riley Feland from Mallaig, Shaun Vallee from St. Lina, and Ty Lafrance and Izzak Warholik from St. Paul.
Heading to Bonnyville this weekend, they are hosting Fort McMurray on Saturday at 3:00pm and 6:00pm, and Sunday at 9:00am and noon at the Paul Bougie diamonds.
It’s been a successful season so far for the group. They sit 2nd in Tier II AAA.
