Three Bonnyville-Cold Lake-St. Paul candidate forums set so far

It’s forum season as the provincial election draws nearer. 

There are currently three candidate forums scheduled for the Bonnyville-Cold Lake-St. Paul constituency. 

Registered are Scott Cyr as the United Conservative Party nominee, Caitlyn Blake as the New Democratic Party candidate, and Glenn Andersen as the Alberta Party representative. 

The Elk Point Economic Development Committee is hosting Cyr and Blake on Thursday night at the Seniors Centre. It begins at 7:00pm.

The Bonnyville and District Chamber of Commerce’s forum is Monday, May 15 at Dr. Brosseau School. This event will be livestreamed on Lakeland Connect. It begins at 7:00pm. 

The next day, Tuesday, May 16, is the Cold Lake Chamber of Commerce’s forum at the Lakeland Inn. This too will be livestreamed on Lakeland Connect beginning at 7:00pm. 

Glenn Andersen’s attendance in these forums is unconfirmed at this time. 

Candidates will deliver their platforms and respond to questions. 

The election is set for Monday, May 29. 

Last provincial election, there were six candidates for the riding.
