Lac La Biche RCMP arrest two in break and enter investigation
Two people have been arrested and face charges after Lac La Biche RCMP investigated a break and enter in the industrial park west of the hamlet.
The incident happened on Thursday, March 16, when RCMP received a report of the crime, and Peace Officers said that they had found two males were breaching court orders.
Through CCTV footage, RCMP determined that these were the same people who had broken into the business shortly before. The two males were located a short distance from the Peace Officers on Highway 55 and arrested, RCMP said on Tuesday.
Adam Cardinal, 42, a resident of Lac La Biche County, was arrested and is facing 7 charges including;
- Break and entering a business x4
- Mischief damage to property under $5,000 x 2
- Fail to comply with conditions
Billy Cardinal, 28, a resident of Lac La Biche County, was arrested and is facing 8 charges including;
- Break and entering a business x4
- Mischief damage to property under $5,000 x 2
- Fail to comply with conditions x2
Following a judicial hearing, Adam Cardinal was remanded in to custody and is scheduled to appear in Lac La Biche Provincial Court on April 3, 2023.
Following a judicial hearing, Billy Cardinal was released and is scheduled to appear in Lac La Biche Provincial Court on May 1, 2023.
