Elks begin second round vs Flyers on Friday

The Elk Point Elks are about to engage in the second round of the playoffs beginning Friday night. 

It will not be an easy series, as Elk Point will face the number one seeded Lashburn Flyers, who swept their first rounds series after a regular season of 13-2-1. 

The Elks took down the two-seeded Wainwright Rustlers in four games, including winning both their home games.  

The Sask-Alta playoffs have seen a variety of upsets in the first round. Both Meadow Lake and St. Walburg advanced despite being lower seeds. 

Game 1 on Friday night begins on the road in the best-of-five series. 

The AG Ross Arena will then be the site for Game 2 on Sunday evening at 6:30pm.
