On February 14, 2023, Mrs. Lucie Jean of Foisy passed away at the age of 83 years.

She is survived by her children, Leo (Elfriede), Carmen (Laurie) Sweeney & Hector; 6 grandchildren, Dustin (Kiaya), Corey (Jami), Melissa (Dominic) Malito, Michael (Sheena) Petryk, Melanie Petryk & Peter (Erin) Petryk; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters & 2 brothers, Louise (Roland) Rocque, Elise Couture, Victor (Jeannine) Couture, Claire (Chuck) Smith & Rene (Bonnie) Couture; numerous nieces & nephews.

Lucie was predeceased by her husband, Alcide; daughter, Doris; son-in-law, Orest Petryk; parents, John & Angelina Couture; sister, Denise Couturier & brother, Jules.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 23 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Michael Ngo will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Bernard Roman Catholic Cemetery, Lafond.
