In late 2022, Elk Point RCMP began a drug trafficking investigation in Frog Lake First Nation. As a result of the ongoing investigation, on Jan. 24, 2023, Elk Point RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on South Beach Road.
As a result of the search RCMP seized:
- Approx. 36.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine
- Various prescription medications
- Approx. $1300 in Canadian currency
- Various weapons including a tazer, pellet guns, batons, and swords
RCMP have arrested and charged Priscilla Dorothy McAdam (43), a resident of Frog Lake First Nation with:
- Trafficking a controlled substance
- Possession of a restricted Weapon (x4)
- Identity theft
Priscilla McAdam has been taken before a justice of the peace and release with her next court date set for February 16, 2023 at St. Paul Provincial Court.
RCMP have arrested and charged Chelsey Dawn McAdam (26), a resident of Frog Lake First Nation, with Trafficking a controlled substance.
