Lac La Biche RCMP ask public’s help in property damage case

Police in Lac La Biche are looking for resident’s help in a property damage investigation.

On May 13, at approximately 8:50 a.m., Lac La Biche RCMP said they responded to a house on Churchill Drive after reports of a broken window and a glass bottle on the driveway.

When Mounties arrived they found a broken liquor bottle with a rag in the top on the driveway.

A window to the residence was broken and a similar bottle was found inside the house, RCMP said.

There was some minor scorch marks found, but there was no active fire and Lac La Biche Fire Services were not called to attend.

Police say the house was unoccupied at the time off the occurrence and there were no one physical injuries. Alberta RCMP Forensic Investigation Services have assisted with the investigation, which is still on going.
