St. Paul RCMP investigate shooting that saw man struck in the leg

St. Paul RCMP are looking for witnesses of a shooting that police say appears targeted.

On May 19, 2022 at 3:05 a.m., St. Paul RCMP say they received a complaint of a shooting that occurred in the area of 50 Street and 49 Avenue in St. Paul. 

Once they got to the scene, RCMP spoke to a 25-year-old victim who was suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot injury to his leg. 

The victim was transposed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

It is believed that this was a targeted attack, RCMP said. 

St. Paul RCMP continue to investigate this incident and are looking for witnesses.
