Lac La Biche RCMP arrest two after hit and run collision involving a firearm

The Mounties in Lac La Biche have arrested two individuals after a firearm was pointed during a hit and run collision.

On March 2, at approximately 10:30 am, the Lac La Biche RCMP received a report of a hit and run collision during which a firearm was pointed by an occupant of the fleeing vehicle.

The Lac La Biche RCMP conducted a high risk vehicle stop at a gas station in Beaver Lake Cree Nation. As a result of the vehicle stop the two occupants were arrested and a rifle was seized.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Priscilla Noskiye, 43, of Lac La Biche is facing five charges including;

  • Unsafe storage of firearm
  • Possession of firearm in a motor vehicle
  • Refusal to comply with breath demand

Sean Kotash, 49,  of Wabasca is facing six charges including;

  • Unsafe storage of firearm
  • Possession of firearm in a motor vehicle
  • Pointing a firearm

Noskiye and Kotash were held for a judicial hearing and were released. They are scheduled to appear in Lac La Biche Provincial Court on April, 2022.

As these matters are now before the courts, no further details can be provided.
