Police arrest man for trafficking in methamphetamine
A recent drug bust in the Town of Bonnyville has netted meth and cash.
According to an RCMP news release, “On December 9, at 9:30 p.m., Bonnyville RCMP, with the assistance of Cold Lake GIS, Lakeland CRU, and Police Dog Services, executed a search warrant at a residence in the Town of Bonnyville.”
During the search, a quantity of drugs and cash were seized.
Three occupants of the residence were arrested without incident Sgt. Sarah Parke says.
A 51-year-old man from Bonnyville is facing charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act for Possession of the Purpose of trafficking in methamphetamine.
The RCMP did not release the amount of drugs and cash that were seized or where the residence was located in the Town of Bonnyville.
