A Friday tea house fire was handled swiftly by the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority (BRFA).

Shortly after lunch, on October 22, Station 5 Bonnyville responded at 1:40 p.m. for an outbuilding on fire in the 4100 block of 46 St.

Dan Heney is the Regional Deputy Chief for the BRFA.

“The fire was extinguished quickly and is currently under investigation,” Deputy Chief Heney told Lakeland Connect.

The fire was contained to the tea house which was a total loss.
