St. Paul Lions pick up win over Bonnyville: Football Roundup
The St. Paul Lions defence roared last Thursday in a 43-0 shutout against the Bonnyville Voyageurs.
St. Paul football fans were treated to the big game right before Thanksgiving weekend, which put the Lions at 2-2 for the season.
The loss puts the Bonnyville Voyageurs at 0-4 for the season and will search for their first win against the strong Holy Rosary Raiders who are 4-0.
Meanwhile, the Lions will travel to Cold Lake to play the Royals.
The Royals put up a good fight against the Lloyd Comp Barons last Thursday, in the end falling 46-14.
With each team at 2-2, the regional rivals could decide who gets the edge in the Wheatland Football League standings when they kickoff Friday evening at 4:00pm at Tom Varghese Field.

Bantam/Peewee football
The Cold Lake Ravens and Bonnyville Bandits will square off in bantam football action this Saturday at 1pm at Walsh Field.
The peewee Cold Lake Rams play host to Wainwright on Sunday afternoon at 1pm.
The Bonnyville Renegades will take off Sunday for a game in Lloydminster.
