EMS, the Bonnyville RCMP, and the BRFA all attended the scene.

The BRFA quickly took control once on scene and Highway 28 was swiftly closed and traffic was diverted. Crews spent upwards of an hour clearing debris from the roadway while waiting for the two wrecked cars to be removed by tow trucks.
