SPORTSHOUND: U18 AA Braves make semi-finals at Provincials

Only one team can be crowned champion. However the coaching staff was extremely proud of the U18AA Braves. Finishing the regular season as the top team in Alberta is no small feat.

You play all spring/summer and at the end of all the travel, all the games, all the heat you are at the top. But It all comes down to the final weekend to crown the provincial champion.

The Braves played their hearts out and left it all on the line losing in the semi finals to the eventual silver medalists the Castor Raiders. The boys should be proud of their great season.

More importantly they were a great group of young men and a pleasure to coach. Hopefully they will be back next year to try and do it all over again.

Castor would go on to win the silver medal and Calgary took home the gold.

A special shout out to our fourth year players who won’t be back next year but were a huge part of this teams success. Tyler Hardy and Graham Broda lead by example and gave it all they had showing the younger players how to play Braves Baseball!! Good Luck Boys!
