St. Paul is under a Fire Restriction

The Town of St. Paul has imposed a fire restriction.

“Effective 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2021,the County of St. Paul is under a Fire Restriction. Until such time that significant moisture is received,” the Town of St. Paul stated in a media release.

The Fire Restriction reads as follows:

  • Safe campfires are allowed in campgrounds and other areas only with approved pits. Pits should be constructed of non-combustible material, and a spark arrester or metal guard should be in place while in use.
  • No open fires are allowed within the County. I.e. brush piles, grass, fields.
  • No new burn permits will be issued.

“We ask everyone to enjoy themselves responsibly, and to ensure their campfires are attended to at all times and completely extinguished when finished,” the Town of St. Paul stated.
