Sign war continues in Bonnyville

The Bonnyville sign war between two 50 Ave businesses continues this week.

A new sign was posted yesterday by Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Causal which read  “Your wine selection is so bad we had to make our own. Hello little doe.”

Sonny’s Liquor was quick to fire back with a sign that read, “Wine and steak go good together, too bad there no good steakhouse.”

Sonny’s Liquor forgot the word “Is” to make the sign flow smoothly like Newfoundland Screech in Bonnyville, but proper grammar is not important when your involved in a sign war.

It is unclear how long this will continue or if we will see some positive messages on the signs.

For now, the two businesses have been creating fun messages for their business’ sign and some say it is a perfect distraction from what’s going on in the world around us. Plus it makes people smile.
