Lac La Biche RCMP seek public assistance in investigation into vandalism to signs

The Mounties in Lac La Biche is requesting your help to combat vandalism to traffic signs in the County.

According to an RCMP news release, “On May 8, at 7:30 a.m., the Lac La Biche RCMP received a complaint that sometime overnight two stop signs had been vandalized in the area of Township 654 and Range Road 153 in the County of Lac La Biche.”

The Mounties investigation revealed that at least 28 traffic signs, in addition to the Venice Hamlet sign, had been vandalized or knocked down recently. The damages are estimated at $18,000.
