St. Paul RCMP arrest man wanted for assault with a weapon
St. Paul RCMP have arrested a wanted man they’ve been looking for in the past several weeks.
Lyle Tyson Cardinal was arrested Wednesday in Saddle Lake First Nation on his outstanding warrant for two counts of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, three counts of uttering threats, and theft of motor vehicle.
He is also facing a new charge of resisting arrest.
Cardinal was remanded into custody after a judicial hearing and appeared in St. Paul Provincial Court on Thursday, RCMP said.
