RCMP telephone town hall Oct. 8

The telephone town hall meeting with RCMP previously approved by St. Paul town council is scheduled for Thursday, October 8 at 6 p.m.

Residents who wish to participate are asked to register ahead of time online or by phoning the town office at 780-645-1765.

Participants will receive a phone call when it is time for the town hall to begin and given instructions for how to be added to the queue to ask questions. A phone number to call back in the event of a call dropping or if someone misses the initial phone call will be published to the town’s Facebook page and website once everything else is in place.

“You’re able to have a very frank conversation with the RCMP, with our community peace officers, I will be on the call, our town council will be on the call. We’ll be able to listen to your concerns and hopefully assist each other in making a safer community,” said Mayor Maureen Miller in an interview after the meeting.
