RCMP telephone town hall Oct. 8

The telephone town hall meeting with RCMP previously approved by St. Paul town council is scheduled for Thursday, October 8 at 6 p.m.

Residents who wish to participate are asked to register ahead of time online or by phoning the town office at 780-645-1765.

Participants will receive a phone call when it is time for the town hall to begin and given instructions for how to be added to the queue to ask questions. A phone number to call back in the event of a call dropping or if someone misses the initial phone call will be published to the town’s Facebook page and website once everything else is in place.

“You’re able to have a very frank conversation with the RCMP, with our community peace officers, I will be on the call, our town council will be on the call. We’ll be able to listen to your concerns and hopefully assist each other in making a safer community,” said Mayor Maureen Miller in an interview after the meeting.

About Meredith Kerr

Since then, she has put down roots in the form of a husband, a mortgage, two babies, and a poorly behaved dog. She continues to work as a reporter until such time as she finishes her book and becomes fabulously wealthy from the royalties. Meredith also serves as a member at large on the St. Paul Library Board and volunteers as a Beaver leader for the 1st St. Paul Scout Group.
