A parolee is going back to a federal institution after breaking conditions this week.
Two males were fighting near La Corey on Thursday morning just past 8:30am. Bonnyville RCMP were dispatched as a witness believed they saw one of the men with a handgun.
Police rushed to the scene and initiated a traffic stop on the suspect.
He was arrested with a fake, imitation handgun, RCMP said.
Stacey Moosepayo, a 37-year-old male from Kehewin, was arrested and held for a hearing.
He faces five weapons-related charges and police said he will be going back to a federal instituion he was previously an inmate.
