On March 21, 2020 at approximately 9:20 a.m., Kitscoty RCMP responded a report of several individuals attempting to steal a trailer from a rural property near Marwayne.
Kitscoty RCMP with the assistance from Vermilion RCMP and RCMP Police Dog Services located and arrested three suspects.
Justin Robert Gervan (26) of Andrew, Alta., and a 21 year old of Lamont County, Alta., were jointly charged with break and enter (x2) and possession of property obtained by crime and theft over $5000.
Both were released from custody and are set to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on June 2nd 2020.
Jesse Hugh Flett (33) of Standoff Alta., was charged with break and enter (x2), possession of property obtained by crime, theft over $5000 and failing to comply with an order.
He was remanded into custody after a judicial hearing and is set to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on April 21, 2020.
Update:
Charges against the 21 year old of Lamont County, Alberta, were withdrawn prior to any court appearance, and no conviction was made.
