Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the water quality advisory that was issued May 29, 2026 for the water at Stoney Lake Municipal Campground Beach.

Water quality has returned to an acceptable level, and the health risk is low for usage of the beach for recreational purposes.

As always, visitors and residents are reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any body of water, at any time.
