Vermilion RCMP public tip leads to search warrant and three arrests tied to multiple break-ins

On Jan 2, 2020 the Vermilion RCMP responded to a 911 call of a sighting of a stolen vehicle.  Vermilion members attended a residence in town and located two stolen vehicles and additional stolen property from a break and enter that had been reported the previous day.

Vermilion RCMP later obtained a search warrant for the residence and located 11 firearms; various rings, necklaces, and watches; 2 computers, 1 tablet, various tools and other property, and methamphetamine. The property located and seized by Vermilion members was related to 5 break and enters at rural properties from December 15, 2019 to January 2, 2020.

Faith Faithful (22) of Marshall, Sask. was arrested and charged with the following Controlled Drug and Substances Act and Criminal Code offences:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of property (over $5000) obtained by crime X 2

Faithful was held for a Judicial Interim Release hearing and released with conditions to appear in Vermilion Provincial Court on February 3, 2020.

Ryan Brooks (40) of Vermilion was arrested and charged with the following Controlled Drug and Substances Act and Criminal Code offences:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Trafficking property obtained by crime X 9
  • Break and enter to steal firearm
  • Break and enter with intent
  • Unauthorized possession of firearm X 5

Brooks was held for a Judicial Interim Release hearing and released with conditions to appear in Vermilion Provincial Court on January 20, 2020.

Brandis Graham (37) of Vermilion was arrested and charged with the following Controlled Drug and Substances Act and Criminal Code offences:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Trafficking property obtained by crime X 9
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon X 5
  • Fail to comply with condition of undertaking

Graham was held for a Judicial Interim Release hearing and released with conditions to appear in Vermilion Provincial Court on January 20, 2020.
