Dr. Brosseau School is Apple distinguished school for 3rd time
École Dr. Brosseau School has been named an Apple Distinguished School for the third time.
The Bonnyville middle school is just one of three schools in Alberta to have this distinction and its reserved for schools that meet criteria for innovation, leadership, and educational excellence and demonstrate a clear vision of exemplary learning environments.
On Friday, the school will celebrate by having students participate in an HOUR OF CODE to wrap up Computer Science Week.
Hour of Code is a global initiative from Dec. 9-15 that encourages educators to introduce to world of coding to students.
Dr. Brosseau school uses iPad and Mac products to inspire student creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking to grow environments where students are excited and curious about learning.
Coding takes place from 9:36am-10:36am, then the Apple Distinguished School celebration from 10:36am-10:58am in Dr. Brosseau School’s gymnasium.
Apple Distinguished Schools are centers of leadership and educational excellence that demonstrate Apple’s vision for learning with technology.
