The Peewee Avalanche traveled to Onion Lake on Saturday afternoon to take on the Chiefs losing 6-4. The last goal was into an empty net when the Avalanche pulled their goalie for the extra attacker and it back fired on them. But the score certainly didn’t reflect the effort by the Avalanche who played a great game firing 31 shots on the Chiefs. Goalie ‘Goodyear Charlie’ Lesyk facing 48. Madden ‘Mad Dog’ Flamand with two goals, big brother Kaleb ‘Formula One’ Flamand with one. Evett ‘Snoop Dog’ Smereka buried a bone in the back of the net too. Not one assist was listed on the game sheet but we all know very well that there was a few.

The only goal in the second period by Keysen ‘Dyamite’ Demossiac assisted by Formula One giving the team a little momentum heading into the dressing room after forty minutes, the score at this point 3-1. The Pit Bulls not rolling over replied with three more goals in the third to seal the deal.
