M.D. hosting open house on Glendon trail paving
The M.D. of Bonnyville is hosting an open house on trail construction.
The paving of the Iron Horse Trail through Glendon from Range Road 482-485 will be discussed at the Glendon Seniors Drop-In Centre on Wednesday from 6-8pm.
Engineers from the firm WSP will be on-hand with M.D. representatives to answer questions from residents while outlining the trail construction.
“That will be an interesting one to see what people really want out there,” said Reeve Greg Sawchuk on The Morning After.
“It’s a few miles. Part of it is in the M.D. but the majority of it is within the Village. That will be interesting to see how that goes. The users of the trail I hope come out to the open house.”
Just under five kilometres of the trail will be paved.
There was push back online on paving after the M.D. moved to pave the trail and residents can voice their concerns on Wednesday.
