Dupre wins Moose Lake Senior League final ball tournament

Dupre has been crowned the 2019 Moose Lake Senior League champs.
Dupre clawed back for a win in the final against the Renegades based from Bonnyville, scoring four runs in the 9th inning to secure the championship and 10-8 win.
The league is made up of teams from the Bonnyville area, Eastbourne, Glendon, and as of this year one team from the St. Paul area.
The final tournament was held in Dupre on Aug. 10-11.
Dupre held a 5-1 record with the victory.
Eastbourne took home honours for the team challenge, which consisted of hitting, ball relay, an accurate ball throw, running and shotgunning a beer in a timed event.
Jeff Cey was crowned the winner of the home run derby.
Players on the team must be at least 40-years-old with each team allowed one player between 35-40-years-old.
