Bonnyville man faces charges after flight from police
Sixty-year-old Bonnyville man Lionel Normand faces a series of charges after flight from police on June 1.
Normand was charged by the Bonnyville RCMP with driving while prohibited, possession of methamphetamine, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failure to comply with an undertaking from an officer in charge.
Normand was seen by police after having an unsecured load in his trunk.
Normand fled from police but was found a block away from his ditched vehicle in a back alley.
He was released by a judge on a judicial release hearing on $4000 no cash bail.
