Cold Lake RCMP seek assistance to identify hit and run suspect

On Friday, May 17, 2019, at approximately 11:20 a.m., RCMP members responded to a hit and run on Miller Crescent.

A large black diesel truck, unknown make or model, drove across a front lawn, striking a boat on a trailer and then struck the back end of an Equinox with a lady in the driver’s seat.  The suspect knocked down a fence and ran over three trees during this incident.

If you notice a vehicle matching the description above with extensive front end damage, please contact the RCMP detachment with as much detail as possible and a license plate number if possible.

RCMP requests you not approach the vehicle for your own safety.
