Elk Point RCMP arrests made after two search warrants executed
UPDATE
The unnamed adult female arrested in this case has appeared in court and the charges against her have been cleared.
BACKGROUND
On April 19, 2019 Elk Point RCMP responded to a break and enter which occurred in the Town of Elk Point. Various items were stolen from a shop. Police investigated further which lead to a residence known to police. After conducting a search warrant of the property, police seized multiple items including a welder, copper wire, military items, and tools.
Nadine Parsons (42) of Elk Point was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 (X3)
- Unlawfully detaining military stores
She was released with conditions to appear in St. Paul Provincial Court on May 23, 2019.
Jason Henry (36) of Elk Point was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 (X3)
- Unlawfully detaining military stores
He was released after a judicial hearing but failed to show up for court and is now wanted by police.
On April 24, 2019, Elk Point RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the Town of Elk Point after associating a tenant of the home to a previous crime. Police discovered copper wire and large containers of fuel located during the search. On April 27, 2019 Elk Point RCMP arrested a male and female in relation to this incident.
Dallan Moser (25) of Elk Point was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Possession of property obtained by crime
- Trafficking property under $5000
- Fraudulent personation with intent
- Fail to comply with undertaking
A 27 year old female of Elk Point was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Possession of property for the purpose of trafficking
- Fail to comply with undertaking
Moser and Ferris were released after judicial hearings with conditions and are scheduled to appear in St. Paul Provincial Court on May 30, 2019.
