Another arrest made in first-degree murder case of Lindsay Jackson

The RCMP say they have made an additional arrest and charge of first-degree murder in the homicide investigation of 25-year-old Lindsay Jackson.

Julian Whiskeyjack, 30 years old, of Saddle Lake was arrested on Jan. 9, 2019 by the RCMP Major Crimes Unit and remanded into custody.

Jena Lynn Hunter, 26-years-old and Jermaine Steinhauer, 23-years-old, both of Edmonton were arrested and  charged with first-degree murder in the case late in December.

Julian Whiskeyjack will appear in St. Paul Provincial Court on Feb. 7.

Jackson went missing on Sept. 22, 2018 and her body was recovered in the North Saskatchewan River on Oct. 3, 2018 near Brosseau, Alberta.

RCMP are not seeking any further suspects regarding this investigation.

As this matter is before the courts no further information will be provided.
