Comfort Inn Raises Money for Food Bank

The Comfort Inn has donated nearly $600 to the Bonnyville food bank.

The $580 raised came from a fundraising barbecue earlier this summer.

Nicole Evans, assistant at the Bonnyville Friendship Centre, says they are looking for more donations because the summer season is slower.

“It’s very generous. It will definitely help us over the next several months. A lot of families come by, so it’s important,” said Evans.

The Comfort Inn chose the food bank for this reason.

They hope to hold one more barbeque in the fall to raise more money for the cause.

“Huge thanks to the community for donating money. Every penny counts.”
